683 Indians crossed the English Channel illegally on small boats in 2022

New statistics from the UK government show a worrying rise in the number of Indian citizens risking their lives to cross the English Channel on small boats illegally and enter Britain. A total of 683 Indian citizens crossed the English Channel illegally from France on small boats in 2022. The majority were men under the age of 40.
